Corsicana, Texas

These were taken around January 1996. The National Weather Service de-commissioned the

Waco Weather Radar. We obtained the radar, tower, dish and dome. The radar transmitter and

receiver along with the associated equipment were not much problem loading up and moving

to Corsicana, but the tower was another thing. It was on top of a building at the Waco airport.

The tower was laid horizontal and wheels attached. Then it was hauled down Hwy 31.
